His secretsA Poem by AtewhsAs dark as secrets can get like a winters' night, this poem is a lover's quest to undo the hidden dark truths of her lover.Like a winter's night, Holding its darkness too stubbornly; To not to unravel any of its color, yet pure black, A night's glory is achieved. His heart too, withheld secrets; all shady dark and grey, But beautifully hidden. His smile was his weaponry lock, Too seductive for a naive soul to fall for it; Dare you ask for a key, to unravel, to make and unmake, To hold or let go, those bittersweet locked pennies of uncertain love. Secrets of me, dancing beneath him; To the tune of pure pleasure. Secrets of us, fantasising years of togetherness; Tangling and untangling our passionate, Unbounded yet bounded love. And, Secrets of him, betraying every moment. That smile, has had nothing real, but ephemeral moves. While I was dead-locked forever, Getting ecstatic every time; over that perfect curve round his mouth. Not knowing, his eyes, His eyes were the key. (Those were the kind of wintery nights' that the summer of our love witnessed , pure, true, uncertain, faded) © 2016 AtewhsAuthor's Note
