Chapter 8 jealousy

<Time skip about 2 weeks later>

 

Your phone alarm goes off and you wake up instantly, turning your alarm off. You got up out of bed and walk to your chest of draws. You pull out a (f/c) singlet, (f/c) button up T-shirt and a three quarter camo pants and you toss them on the bed. You then pull out a pair of black socks and a (f/c) bra and you then proceed to get dressed into your outfit. After you put on your shirt you think about whether or not to button it up, in the end you decided to leave it undone, because you think it’s looks cool.  After you’re dressed you put on your socks and (f/c) canvas shoes and you brush your hair, you decide that you’ll leave your hair down today. You go over to your full body mirror and check yourself out. “I look as sexy as ever” you chuckled to yourself. You collect your school bag, phone and any other things you might need for school.

 

You walk out of your room, closing the door behind you and proceed to the kitchen. You walk in to find no one in the kitchen “hm that’s odd, normally da…” you stop mid-sentence realizing that your father no longer lives with you “oh, that’s right”. You put your bag down next to a chair as you go to make some breakfast. You finished your breakfast and put the bowl and spoon in the sink. You grab your bag on your way out of the house.

 

As you’re walking to school, you hear someone call out your name. You stop and turn around to see who it is. “Hey (y/n)” the boy said, trying to catch his breath. “Sup John” you replied, as the both of you started walking. “So how was your holidays?” John asked “it was okay, I guess” you say emotionless. “Is everything alright? You seem quite” john ask worried about you “yeah I’m fine, it’s just……my parents…….they split up” you said as a couple of tears rolled down your face “oh, I’m sorry” “it’s okay” john stoped walking and took a hold  of your hand causing you to stop and turn to face him. He reached his other hand up to your face and wiped away the tears “hey don’t cry, things like this happen and besides I’m here for you” john said trying to confit you “thanks John, we better get to school or we’ll be late” “hehe yeah”.

 

<Time skip>

 

You put some of your books away in your locker and close it. You start to walk to the canteen but Dave came over “Sup (y/n)” “A lot of things are up, for instances the ceiling” Dave chuckled at your smartass comment “yeah I guess your right” you and Dave head to the canteen. After you got your food and payed for it you sat at the table that Jade, Rose and John are sitting at. “Hey guys” you say taking a seat next to Rose “Do the boys know that you have a crush?” Rose whispers in your ear. You blushed at the mere thought of Karkat “no and they not going to know” you replied to Rose’s question “who’s not going to know what?” Dave asked taking a seat next to John “nothing” you said shacking your head. As first lunch past you all talked about your holidays; Jade said she went camping with her pop, Rose said she had went out on a date with Kanaya, John said he done some pranking and Dave said he was making some ‘sick beats’ as he puts it.

 

As the bell went you all got up and went to your assigned classes. As you’re heading to class you seen something you never expected. You quickly arrive at your classroom and took a seat and opened pester chum.

 

[CH] (chumhandle) began pestering [GG] GardenGnostic

 

CH: You would not believe what I just seen.

 

GG: Is it really important to tell me during class?

CH: Yes!

GG: Okay what is it?

CH: Well on my way to class I seen Terezi and Gamzee making out

GG: What? Are you serious?

CH: Yes, I’m serious

GG: Wait, are you sure you’re not just jealous of Terezi been with Karkat, considering you have a crush on him.

CH: I’m not jealous! I have nothing to be jealous about.

 

GG: That’s what someone who is jealous would say.

CH: Well I’m not f*****g jealous.

GG: Okay okay, are you going to tell anyone else about that you swore Terezi and Gamzee making out?

CH: I don’t know, maybe.

GG: Well don’t mention anything about it around or to Karkat

CH: Why’s that? He has a right to know

GG: I know that he has a right to know, but if you tell him he’ll think that you’re jealous and deny it

CH: Okay, well I better go, I’ll see you at lunch.

 

GG: Okay Bye.

 

[CH] (chumhandle) ceased pestering [GG] GardenGnostic

 

You signed off pesterchum and start to contribute in class.

 

<Time Skip 1 & ½ weeks later>

 

(Karkat’s POV)

 

You’re in class, Home Economics to be exact and you’re learning how to making pizza from scratch, along with the rest of the class. You can’t help but get the feeling that some of your friends are keeping something from you, especially the female fuckass Strider, no not Dave the other one, (f/n). “HeY BrO, YoU OkAy?” you hear your moirail say “IM FINE” “OkAy If yOu sAy So” sometimes you just want to hit Gamzee for been such a Stupid moirail, of cause you’re not okay.

 

The bell rang signalling the end of class and you just pulled your pizza out. You cut you pizza into pieces to fit in a container and left after cleaning up your mess. You went to your locker and put away some books, you got out the container of pizza to put it in your locker but someone had come up behind you and scared you, causing you to drop the container. “F*****G HELL, DON’T DO THAT SHITSTAIN” you said picking up your container, you turned around to see who it was that scared you “sorry about that, I didn’t think you could be easily scared” (y/n) said chucking a little. “What’s in the container?” you turn to put the container in your locker “NONE OF YOUR F*****G BUISNESS STRIDER” no one knows you can cook, and you’re going to leave it that way.

 

As the two of you head to the canteen for lunch (y/n) spoke up breaking the silence that was between the two of you “Karkat there’s something you probably should know” you are unsure on what the human is going to say, but whatever it is she sounds unsure whether to say it or not. “The other week I seen something that you won’t be to impressed about” okay now you’re getting a bit worried, but of cause you don’t show it “I seen that Terezi is cheating on you” there was a small pause “with Gamzee”. You stoped walking, and shook your head not wanting to believe what you just heard. There’s no way that she would cheat on you, well you are hopping. “Karkat, you okay?” (y/n) said putting her hand on your shoulder “DON’T F*****G TOUCH ME” you pushed the female away from you “THERE’S NO WAY THAT SHE WOULD F*****G CHEAT ON ME, ITS OBVIOUS THAT YOUR JUST F*****G JEALOUS, SO STOP SPREADING F*****G ROAMERS THAT ARENT TRUE” you shouted and then walked away, leaving a very shocked girl.
