Chapter 4 Meeting New people

You turn around to see who the hell is yelling and what you see isn’t what you expected

‘WERE THE F**K IS THAT ASSHAT’ you thought to yourself while trying to find this so called asshat. You’re walking pass people when you see a familiar boy with black hair and next to him is the one you’re looking for. You push pass people to catch up with the two boys and yell at the asshat. “FOR F**K SAKE STRIDER I’VE BEEN F*****G LOOKING FOR YOU EVERYWHERE YOU PIECE OF S**T”  you yell at the blonde boy which coursed both of them to stop and turn around. You walk up to them and see that the asshat by the name of strider looks like a....................girl?.

 

You have a confused look on your face to why strider looks like a girl. “Karkat are you ok?” you hear john say “YEAH I’M F*****G FINE, I JUST WANT TO F*****G KNOW WHY THE HELL IS DAVE CROSS DRESSING?” you say pointing to the blonde. “um Karkat that’s not Dave” “WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE ISN’T DAVE?” John was about to tell you but the blonde which isn’t Dave butted in. “first of all I’m a girl, if you can clearly see i have b***s” he said as in he is a her and she said “and second of all I’m (y/n) not Dave” she says finishing her sudden outburst.

I see another one of those um I don’t know what to call them i think they’re aliens of some sort but anyway. He has like the others black hair, grey skin and horns but his horns are little nubby ones, which look kinda cute. No I can’t be thinking that his horns are cute, just NO. He wearing a turtle neck with the cancer sign on it in grey and black jeans. I look at this boy up and down and eyes rest o is face to see that  he has a confused look. “karkat are you ok?” i hear john say, so his name is karkat i wonder if he is as sweet as his name. “YEAH I’M F*****G FINE, I JUST WANT TO F*****G KNOW WHY THE HELL IS DAVE CROSS DRESSING?” ok so maybe he isn’t as sweet as his name and my god what is with the yelling. “um karkat that’s not Dave” “WHAT DO YOU F*****G MEAN HE ISN’T DAVE?” wait he thinks i’m Dave “first of all i’m a girl, if you can clearly see i have b***s” i don’t even know how he can get me confused with a boy “and second of all im (y/n) not Dave” i explained. I look towards john and see that his jaw has dropped obviously by my sudden outburst. Then i look towards karkat and see that his eyes are red like mine and wide open by shock.

 

I giggle at the boys expressions which caused both to come back to reality. “WELL IF YOU’RE NOT F*****G DAVE THEN WHY IN ALTERNAN F**K DO YOU LOOK LIKE HIM HUH?” he said getting in my face “don’t pick on her karkat, she’s only new here” john says trying to move karkat away from my face “if you get out of my bubble and stop with the yelling i mite tell you” karkat takes one step back and crosses his arms “ok well the reason that i look so much like Dave is because I’m his twin sister, identical twin actually” i say. Karkat unfolds his arms “ARE YOU SERIOUS, THERE’S NO F*****G WAY THAT YOU’RE F*****G RELATED TO THAT DOUSHEBAG PRICK” i just roll my eyes “well i’m sorry that i’m” i say been sarcastic “YOU KNOW WHAT F**K YOU AND BEEN TWINS WITH A PRICK LIKE DAVE” and Karkat starts to walk off then turns around “DOSE EATHER OF YOU NOOKSTAINS KNOW WERE HE IS?” he asks with a little less anger “nope” I say bluntly “sorry Karkat I haven’t seen Dave since this morning” john says and Karkat just walks off yelling. “He needs anger management” i say making a statement “i agree” john says and we walk to the canteen to have lunch.

 

After me and john payed for our food we head to a table. I see Dave and two girls sitting at the table that me and john are walk to. I take a seat next to Dave and john sat on the other side of me. “(y/n) these are my other two friends, Jade Harley and Rose Lalonde-” Dave says pointing to each of the girls when he said they names “-guys this is my sister (y/n)”. Both girls greet me and i do the same back. “(y/n) may i please see your timetable?” Rose asks “yeah” i pull  out my timetable “here” “thank you” Rose looks over my timetable to see if we’re in any classes together “well (y/n) it seems that we are in history together along with john of cause” and she hand me back  the piece of paper. “If you don’t mind me asking, how many trolls have you meet so far? ”i looked at her with confusion ‘what is she’ before i finished my thought i realised what she’s talking about “do you mean the people with grey skin and horns?” “Yes, they’re aliens, they’re called trolls” “well then I’ve meet three of them” “what are their names?” “well the first one I meet her name is Kanaya she seems nice, the second one is Eridan he creeps me out, and the third one is Karkat I think that he has a soft side but chooses to hide it” i finish telling Rose the names of the trolls that I’ve meet and I hear Dave and John laughing. “What are you guys laughing at?” I questioned looking back and forth between the boys. They manage to say “you think that Karkat has a soft side” in between laughs. I just roll my eyes not understanding how that’s funny.

 

(Your 3^rd pov)

 

*RING* you get up from your set and pick your bag and the others did the same. “Nice meeting you (y/n)” jade says and gives you a hug “see you second break” jade said walking out of the canteen. Rose did the same and heads to her class. You walk with Dave and John for a bit them say “see ya second break” to John. You and Dave arrived at the school gym and walk towards all of the other students in your class. As your walking towards the group of people you notice someone from one of your other classes. He turns around and sees you and Dave and then you recognized him as Eridan “great” you mutter to yourself. “Sup Vantas” Dave says trying not to laugh “WHAT THE F**K IS SO FUNNY STRIDER?” karkat yelled as always. Dave couldn’t hold it in any longer he bursts out in laughter again. You just shake your head and thought ‘will he just get over it’. You fell someone tap your shoulder and you look up to see karkat “WHAT THE F**K IS NOOKSTAIN LAUGHING AT?” he says calmly pointing to Dave. You smile ‘wow Karkat sounds cute when he’s not yelling’ you thought “EARTH TO FEMALE STRIDER” karkat yells waving his hand in your face “huh oh sorry I must’ve spaced out” you blush a bit but not enough to be noticed. “YEAH YEAH, ARE YOU GOING TO F*****G ANSWER MY QUESTION TO WHY THE ASSHAT OVER THERE WAS LAUGHTING” by now Dave had calmed down. “he was just laughing at something I said a morning tea” karkat gave you a look that said “CARE TO F*****G TELL’

 

 

The teacher walks in “ok everyone SHUT THE F**K UP and listen here”. You were taken back by the teachers language “we are going to play dodge ball” you smirk looking towards Dave and Dave looks back with the same expression as you. “ok todays leaders are Karkat and Dave” both boys walk up to the teacher and stand either side of him. “Karkat you can choose first today” the teacher said.  You see karkat looking at everyone “(Y/N)” you walk up to karkat and stand next to him and then Dave choose someone. After everyone has been choose the teacher asks Dave’s team to go to the far side of the basketball court and tell karkat’s team to go to the other side. As both teams are going to their side of the court the teacher places the dodge balls in the middle. “OK EVERYONE YOU SHOULD ALL KNOW MY STRATEGY” karkat says “and then would be?” you ask “TO BE THE F*****G FIRST TO THE BALLS” he replies. You chuckle and shake your head back and forth “WHAT, YOU HAVE A F*****G PROBLEM WITH IT NOOKWHIFF” HE SHOUTS. “I have no problem with your strategy but have you ever won?” you say and he just folds his arms and looks away. “that’s what i thought, if you want to win i can help” karkat just looks at you in disbelief “unless you want to keep losing to Dave” you say with a smirk “FINE WHAT THE F**K DO YOU HAVE IN MIND?” “well first of all you don’t want to be the first to get the balls because you are more likely to get out” you notice that karkat still doesn’t believe you “try to trow at their feet because they have less of a chance of catching the ball” “fake a throw at someone feet but throw at their mid-section” “don’t stand in the same stop trying to get people move around so it’s a bit difficult for the people on the other team to get you” “after you aim for their legs multiple times stop and aim somewhere else like there mid-section” you finish telling them your tips “IF YOUR F*****G LY-” you cut him off “chillax Kat they won’t see what hit them” and with that the teacher blew him whistle to start the game.

 

You dodge an incoming ball from Dave and hit him with a ball you had in your hand. He just walks off the court to sit with the other people on him team that got out. After Dave got out, it was a breeze to get the remaining people on him team. Once they were out, everyone went back to their side of the court to start round two. The second round was won by Dave’s team so now it’s a tie and the last round will determine which team wins. So now its neck and neck with you and Dave. Everyone on both teams is out except you and Dave. You both just glare at each other waiting for the other to throw the ball that’s in there hand. “let’s end this” you whisper to yourself. You throw a ball at Dave but he dodges it. He then throw his but you duck and miss you. Dave quickly looks around his side of the court for a ball. He spots one and runs for it. As Dave is doing that you pull out another ball that you had in your other hand behind your back. Just a Dave bent down to pick it up the ball you threw your ball. Dave stood up and turned to face you but ended up getting hit in the face with the dodge ball. Thus making your team win well karkat’s team actually.
