Of Songs and Nightly LongingsA Poem by NATO KRYVAVRY

What home can one's voice be to another, That there we take at paradise with ease As songs when sang keep warm and keep cover The souls whom with our own, we seek to please Thus, I have but a song with a rythm Measured by the distance its sound reaches, Much like a light that goes through a prism, Broken into colors, and it teaches: That love is light - that goes without question And darkness is beaten where there is light But darkness is vengeful without reason, That it makes the heart sing, more so, at night; So do not fault the light when the heart sings As the night strums sweetly, the heart strings
