A Blue Print

A Blue Print

A Poem by Frank F. Atanacio
"

The life of a modern woman is like a blueprint

"
Small frame
soft name,
tiny breasts,
dark skin.
Long hair,
flows back,
touching the flesh,
gently on her
lower back.
Dark eyes,
prefect smile,
woven into a
pretty face.
A blueprint of beauty,
right before our eyes,
catch it quickly,
before it dies.

A soft flowing poem, about a subject that is eternal, never growing old, no matter, how old we grow, ourselves. Like any blueprint, one can build upon it, making minor changes, to match our definition of beauty. I feel like you are looking back at a former lover, taken too soon from you. It has that feeling of sadness, which heights the emotions, the reader has. Thank you, for sharing this poem with us.
