A Bizarre Procession

A Bizarre Procession

A Poem by Frank F. Atanacio
"

a death leaves a haunt

"
The spirits sighed inwardly,
as they marched along side the ghosts,
in their hearts there was no fear,
and that’s what they needed most,
the darkness was bringing up the rear,
they attracted stares
from everyone they happened to pass,
they made a bizarre procession,
one that would last,
as they were heading toward confession,
to be judged by a voice,
and they had no choice.
