God's Lovely Command

Huamns are violent by nature

Too many troubling thoughts,

Humanity at War,

God could not return to sleep,

spirits moved wearily,

and the angels would weep,

humans commit acts of violence,

death had its own sound,

and blood stained his ground,

as soldiers take salvation hostage,

and then expect full exoneration,

innocent,

by Man’s law,

a flaw,

a failure,

and temptation continues to rule,

they go hand and hand,

ignoring God’s lovely command.
