Another Detonation

Another Detonation

A Poem by Frank F. Atanacio
"

bombs bursting in air....

"

The explosion was loud,

it rattled panes,

created worried crowds,

darkened clouds,

falling rain,

acid, but rain just the same,

pigeons reeling into the sky,

flying high,

by the millions as they try

to escape the aftermath,

another detonation

could destroy the nation,

God’s creation,

salvation.

Poignant piece. I think we'd be fine with no more detonations. Once again, you really painted a picture with your words. I felt it.

Cheers!
