AsphyxiationA Poem by Frank F. AtanacioSufferage, old feelings
Death by asphyxiation, takes only minutes, and comes in different variations, when every cell literally screams for air, and the mind fills with fear, horror could never compare, and that it extremely clear, after he left her bedside, her face was swollen wide, dark blue, and blood from her nose, leaked out slowly like water dripping out of a cheap plastic hose, her hair in total disarray, eyes gray, twisted legs and feet, fluids staining the sheet, after exiting the quick trance, he lost his chance, he put the pillow down, everyone walked in to see her, her wish of death, stalled, while he held his breath. © 2009 Frank F.
