God Penetrated The DarknessA Poem by Frank F. AtanacioGod, drama. forgivenessThe young angel didn’t even want to breathe hard, death coated him like glue, when he was going to die, he hadn’t a clue, a dark demon entered wearing a mask, he was the one chosen for the task, hiding his identity so his existence would last, was the only thing on his mind, if God only knew who he was, revenge would be strong, suffering could stay long, the demon’s nose was totally blocked, and he could taste the blood from his teeth, he fell to his knees, revenge falling on him like boulders, too much weight on his shoulders, everything around him became dust, the young angel freed, and floated up like a ghost, the demon realized that darkness had lost his trust, and that’s what he hated most, no fight against God, leaving him to die, As God stood and stared, the defeated demon glared, almost begging for death, as if it cared, but before he took his last breath, God penetrated the darkness, and removed the fear that often comes with death, so he could enter without a care, and God was very fair. © 2009 Frank F.
