Avoids The Morning Sun

Avoids The Morning Sun

A Poem by Frank F. Atanacio
"

Vampires, Greed, Hunting

"

Apparently the way this human died hit a chord,

the vampire lowered his sword,

and lowered his chin,

and his eyes glared,

while the human flared,

and the vampire stared,

but there was a lack of sustenance in the human’s eyes,

the vampire shook his head in dismay,

he didn’t want it to happened that way,

his feed comes from greed,

and the vampire could not feed,

as the hunger, left him with the need,

but killing that human violently,

meant that his chance to feed was done,

nothing to drain, nothing to drink, there was none,

now he hungers into the night,

as he avoids the morning sun.

Wow! There is just something simply seductive about vampires. Great poem. A treat for the imagination
