Designated Terrain

Designated Terrain

A Poem by Frank F. Atanacio
"

Battle between Heaven and Hell continues...

"

The dark angel thought everything was going his way,

until he felt victory slip away,

he was angry, and betrayed,

he looked like calm,

wet palm,

itchy skin,

then their eyes met,

but the beads of sweat

on his face showed tension,

apprehension,

what had been a vision of hope

was now a symbol of frustration,

he moved forward and his back sloped,

and he simply lost all concentration,

he knew there were different ways

all in his mind a scenario plays,

delivering destruction to Human Kind,

but it was his dark army who ceased to exist,

they fell to their own dark rain,

and now they occupy a designated terrain,

it was there doing and it was their pain,

the dark demon’s army fell,

and lost forever in the debts of hell!
