A Ghost CriesA Poem by Frank F. AtanacioAlcohol, Sadness, Loss
In a few moments, the driver of the car was sound asleep, a ghost cries, through silence you could hear the weep, driver dies, as the car falls into a deep stream, he promised he’d be home soon, but he was lost in a dream, she saw his ghost, her eyes searching, seeking understanding the most, he drank, he sank, he promised to be home, she received a phone call instead, telling her that her husband was dead. © 2009 Frank F.
