His Victory Was Her DefeatA Poem by Frank F. AtanacioSadness, pain, anguih
She had just turned around to face him, life of lies, life of sin, her mouth open to voice her suspicions, but she felt the intermissions, her mind’s eye filling with fear, she couldn’t confront him, she wouldn’t dare. He was abusive as he did what he pleased, her life was difficult, his was a breeze, his dark intense gaze, controlled her, and brought her down to a new phase, depression settled in, it was always all about him, she would always consume his fire, take his heat, and his victory was her defeat. © 2009 Frank F.
