An Ache

An Ache

A Poem by Frank F. Atanacio
"

loss, sad, gloomy

"

A sadness,

deep down,

an ache,

all around,

she looked into the casket,

tears tumbled,

cheek wet,

lives crumbled,

and she was alone for the first time,

so she really cried,

really, really cried,

an ache hurt so bad,

a moment in time, so sad,

it hurt her heart,

and froze her mind,

she cried, really, really cried.

Very well done. Beautiful in it's simplicity and sadness. Keep up the good work.
