Different And So DivineA Poem by Frank F. AtanacioDark Poetry
She leaned into him, The boy nodded, in her eyes he saw swirls, patterns, and lights, all kinds of wonderful delights, something so different and so divine, yet her surroundings were cruel and so blight, as if she stood in the nightmare, guiding him, and absorbing his fear, no goodness would you ever find. So he thought... The boy sighed and closed his eyes, whispered softly under his breath, because after all that happened and his head filled with cries, she cradled his heart against her chest, leaving the evil to remain with the rest, as war destroyed his people and his town, he was the only one left that wasn't ripped apart, arms and legs everywhere, and all over the ground, mothers crying as they try to hold together their broken hearts, praying to this Angel so she could lead the way, so beautiful she was and so divine, the boy welcomed the next step called death, but it was so different and so divine. Heaven's gate opened and it called him in, washed away were all his worries and all his sins, he felt different and so divine © 2008 Frank F. AtanacioReviews
