Haiku Poetry

A Poem by Asusa Susa
"

Simplicity is complexity's true nature.

"
New day

A burst of sunlight,
melts the morning drops of dew.
I am now awake.

Springtime

A cold wind blows not,
yet branches burst with blossoms.
A new season sprouts.

Seagull

Master Fisherman,
dips its beak in brininess.
Nets in the days catch.

Snowstorm

Spirits of snow gods,
dancing on roof and tree tops.
Winter consumes us.

The most beautiful and sentimental events in life can be expressed with only a few simple words, so to ascribe any more than necessary would only taint and corrupt its meaning.
