Life Is...A Poem by Asusa SusaEmotional tragedies from personal experience, in a moment of silence, birth a flurry of sentimental outbursts through tears and a few simple and sad words.
Life is…
My heart and mind is a labyrinth of misery and despair, long before my birth. A place corralled by the foggy mist of uncertainty. I wish it weren’t so. Yet I stroll long-faced and myopic never glancing back. My head held high. I search for an escape, looking for hope and security, not for tomorrow but for today. To my dismay, I arrive hesitantly towards a dying light, a spark in an endless abyss. Where the hope, the despair, and the foggy mist finally burst. Into infinite pieces, not for the very last time, It’s been my crime. For I awake once more to the torture and pain of everyday living.
