Channeling Brexit

Yakety Sax is a long, long track.

You heard it week last, but now it's back.

That crackly sound, image in white 'n black;

You know it'll be stupid and so, so hack.

So skip the booze and skip the snack,

or the only queue will be to slip through cracks.

But I just threw out my hypocrisy. Back

when hugs and talks were not an attack,

a joke like 'lol disintegration' might get you a smack.

We used to build palaces for each others' hearts,

Now we kick down each others' shacks.

They discovered some people just want to watch the world burn;

They bred that kind through nurture, to the max.

Let's hope they can't breed out the way it hurts, 

or how much we need each other back.
