Wooing

Wooing

A Poem by Astral_Tides

If I could capture the stars,
I would string them like pearls
for you to wear around your neck.

If I could forge from moonbeams,
I would craft you earrings
to send whispers throughout your day.

If I could bottle sunlight,
I would mix the finest tea
so that a sip would shine your smile.

If I could fashion from the breeze,
I would weave you a pillow of air
so that your head can rest true as you dream.

If I could harness the seas,
I would drag them to your door
so that their beauty will always be near for you to see.

If I could hold a beating heart,
I would choose yours
so that it would be shielded and warmed by my hand.

You are dexterous with your pen.
Creating delicate pieces.
You have me swooning.

Beautiful dear.
