FlyGirlA Poem by AstralArtistA poem for my good friend "Switchkraft".......you'll find her personal profile on
FLY GIRL
She's the fever You simply can't shake Sporting spiked chrome boots Designed to break The skin of the daring And the spirit of the meek Licking voluptuous lips Shaped to peak The interest of any who'd dare Part the black curtain of her satin hair To take in the "Kick you in your face" stare From eyes that will gaze Right through your being Defining and dissecting you And picking you clean She is acceleration Standing still Hard metal chords Wrap her will But she's holding back Feeling constrained Though once in her world You'll be trained To unleash the muse Live in the moment Risk the wretched excess Of indulgence abused She's wanting more Than what she sees Shaken to the core By what she can be And the whole lump sum Of adventures to come Once she has successfully Broken free Of normalcy You'll have to step fast
To join her ride Or be aghast At how quickly the tide Dries up on you
If you miss the chance To engage the Fly Girl In sensual dance Because she's the goose bumps You want to feel Holding the breath You want to steal To feed the hunger That drives her appeal And ease the pain When she's out of range Of your look and touch When missing her becomes One sorrow too much The memory of her Will cushion your senses Reassure and strengthen Your defenses Because she will always be there Beyond distance and time Beyond the frenetic and sublime And talk and rhyme Once the Fly Girl is in you She stays in you Always Jamie Shelton
