Still the Wind Knows

Still the Wind Knows

A Poem by Astraeaa

Silent cries
As we spoke with knives
It always hunt us
A troubled mind with dust
Uneven steps we take
Along the shore of regrets
Taking  peril sides
To ride thy disheveled tides
We spoke with our eyes
With silent lullabies
It is all hidden
Crippled and dead within
No one hears
The battle cry we fought
Still engraved in me
a love we have lived
A happy endings
We've seen in between rifts
It's always there
Deep down but never gone
As time will come it'll never shows
Perhaps the wind still knows.
