Silent Promise

Silent Promise

A Poem by Astra

Pulled from fairy tale sleep
Too young to understand
Your serpents hiss consoling my doubts.
I watch as you dip inside
Devouring lost dreams.
Jailor, you shift protecting arms
Holding me tight
Encasing my mouth
Along grooves of sin.

Up and down my saliva swallows your taste.
Through a haze I see your face,
Eyes closed to my pain
Mouth shaped in horrific pleasure.

Pulling back,
I rub toddler knees against harsh carpet,
Creating burns that never leave.
Body salt drips down my cheeks,
Along your chest.
Cradling me close
Words echo past deaf ears,
Inside my mind, love repeats until I drown.

Gentle fingertips
Brush past blossoming youth,
Molding softly, a moan escapes.

Sounds beyond my cage
Pull you, my jailor, from me
Slipping past my freedom,
Dark eyes flash
A warning,
Deep inside my young life shatters
My lips forever closed.
A silent promise burning through my soul.

Very sensual. The imagery and description is amazing. You have a unique way with symbolism. Unique in a good way, of course. =)
