I wish i could fall asleep

I wish i could fall asleep

A Poem by Aster

I wish I could fall asleep as

As fast I could peacefully

Between the steps of dancing feet

Out there to happiness or

Might be a loss

To the music of love coming home,

To the music of love leaving home,

Between the weeps of a child

To have a chocolate

Or to just fill one’s starvation.

Between the voices insisting me

To come closer

Between the voices insisting me

To go as far as possible

Between the scolds of a father

To the caress of a mother

Between the weeps of a child

For their parents to return

To the weeps of parents

For their child to return

Between the melodious humming of happy faces

To the melodious humming of sad faces,

I simply wanted to

Fall asleep as fast as possible.
