I love your work! I suggest that people try living long work lives before dying for God. I think that he would like to see a world in perfect peace and prosperity although this is highly unlikely given the fact that children are born with no knowledge. However, we can get a lot closer than we are.
I love you topics for discussion. The intersection of war and literature is indeed a wonderful area of art, especially writing. I don't like war, but the more that we talk about the atrocities that happen, the less tolerant the world public becomes for war itself.
yeah, this is wt most ppl believe they have to do but it's all wrong, u know like the ppl who bomb themselves and kill thousands with them...
good job!
See this is what I have been trying to tell people that most wars started because of religion and the nut jobs believing they are doing it for God or religious freedom. So on and so forth, so many things have happened in the name of religion and where the hell did it get people? Dead and or persecuted. Good job
I get it. Congratulation, someone has written I poem I can understand. Haha. It's really thought provoking, and addresses many current events. It's too bad the very people you describe are stuck in this one train of thought. Discriminating/killing others because of race and religion is something that should be stopped. I'm glad you wrote a poem about these "holy wars". I think the poem is awesome.
omg this poem expresses my same exact opinions on what I think about holy war and the f*****g excuse that they have to kill called "Jihad", i think its all just an excuse to gain power and corrupt people into following certain leaders...faith truly isn't about dying for your God, its about using what you believe in to benefit the world, not yourself...
i love this poem and how you get the point across that HOLY WAR IS NOT HOLY!
This is definitely a great and thought-provoking poem. You brought forth a subject that so many people don't seem to talk about very much, and I think that is absolutely bold. :) Now, even if you say "all religions", I notice that you use the proper noun "God" and "hell"; both words that contradict your description. Eh, all in all, I still get what you mean, so no worries. ^^
This message most certainly reminds me of "The Devil made me do it" verdict... only in this case, it's "God wants me to do it"... In my eyes, there doesn't seem to be a difference; either way, people die, and your poem states that pretty clearly. ;)
Thanks for posting this! I had an excellent time reading it, and I absolutely loved the message you're displaying! Great job!
