A Fork in the Road

A Fork in the Road

A Poem by Vincent Asmodeus
"

Old poem made up years ago for a Forum Based 100-poem competition.

"

A good man once said,
"Let sleeping dogs lie"
A bad man once said the same.

A good child will play,
until someone is hurt.
The bad, forced to stop the game.

A bad King once exclaimed,
"Chop off their heads!"
A good one would seldom differ.

A good rock would skim,
and dance on the water,
but, like the bad, still ends up in the river.

How do you know,
when being wrong,
if you are positive you're doing right?

Are good and bad,
not just the same?
Different views, which cloud someone's sight.
