Grandfather Tree

Grandfather Tree

A Poem by AllenS
"

Rainforest Experience

"
Out of my body you came
Feeding on my decay
Broadening my smile
Deepening my tears
Fixing your roots into this soil
Lifting your branches toward the light

dear Allen... I thought of how our offspring burst forth with our genes and became their own person. Perhaps our wisdom is part of the decay in your poem. Explaining passion to our young is difficult as they must learn by feeling their way through life. I best explain life as our Spirit that endured and guides our way although we may stumble from time to time⚓️A beautiful poem. You know the poem “I think I shall never see a poem as lovely as a tree” by Joyce Kilmer I believe. truly, Pat

Amazing use of words. I planted two trees when I moved into my home. Now they stand tall and beautiful. Nature wonders leave us with good place and good memories to hold on to. Thank you Allen for sharing the amazing poetry.
