Walking across the darkened parking lot last evening, I felt the sting of icy rain piercing the comfort of my fatigued forarm. Noticed the difference from the rain I wrote about.

That is so true and you cannot escape from that nasty weather. Well unless you move. :)
Love the vitality of this image and poem. Also love rain when it comes like this.. lovely language, flow, cadence.. Last word, like the sun, bursts forth after the cleansing rain..great write!
