Natural

We rode in silence. I kept my eyes glued to my hands, trying my best to avoid staring at him. The tension between us was hot. I rolled down the window a little bit. Some cool air would do us good.

 

"I knew that you were turned on," he said softly.

 

"What?!" I asked, completely bewildered. "How could you know that?!"

 

"I could feel it."

 

"You could feel it?"

 

"... Yeah."

 

"So in turn you... felt that way, too?" I asked tentatively.

 

He turned his head to me for a moment. I could still see the lust and passion in his eyes. I shrunk back against the door, averting my eyes.

 

"Don't be ashamed of it," he said. "I'm attracted to you, you're attracted to me. It's natural for us to act on that attraction."

 

"What's so natural about a 15 year old and a 19 year old?" I exclaimed. "Nothing!"

 

"It is natural! It's the most natural thing in the world! Just because you're so insecure doesn't mean you have to take it out on me!"

 

"Stop the car," I commanded.

 

"What?"

 

"I said stop the car!"

 

Luke quickly pulled over to the side of the road. I quickly slid out.

 

"Don't do this," he pleaded.

 

I didn't look at his face. I knew that if I did, my defenses would fall, and I'd be helpless against those blue eyes.

 

"Just leave me alone!" I screamed at him. "I don't want to see you ever again!"

 

I slammed the door shut, and continued down the street. When I turned the corner into my school out of my eye, I saw Luke's truck right where i had left him
