Praises (A Pleiades)

Praises (A Pleiades)

A Poem by Asiatic Fox
"

Me attempting a Pleiades, which is a form invented in 1999 by Craig Tigerman, Sol Magazine's Lead Editor. Only one word is allowed in the title, followed by a single seven-line stanza. The first word in each line begins with the same letter as the title

"

Please, let me
prove myself to you.
Perhaps I can sing your
praises. In the sky, on the
plains, wherever the
presence of life is
perpetually breathing.

Author's Note

Asiatic Fox
I've had trouble writing poetry lately (extreme writer's block), so I'm attempting different things. I usually write free form stuff, but I thought a good way to fight against my block was to attempt some actual forms.
