The Fallen Angel

The Fallen Angel

A Poem by La'-Asia

She Is Fire
She Is Rain
She Is Earth
She Is Wind
She Is an angel
Fallen from grace
At the hands of love of a mortal
That boundary undefined
The winged goddess
Has smacked the ground
Rumbled with peace
And now in the pits of darkness
Hurt, Afraid, Alone
Help cries unheard
Slowly decomposing from the inside out
Cold, Sad
Tears Burning A Hole In My World
My heart reluctantly beats
As another piece of me shatters
Leaving less and less
But as she is tattooed with the label
The Angel with Broken Wings
she remembers
Even Angels HAVE to learn to fly

The reason why I really like this poem is because it describes how reality of life is. Many times we end up messing up things and start to feel disappointed though that is not end of life. You will surely learn to fly and fly high you surely will.
