Fireworks

Fireworks

A Poem by La'-Asia

Clash, Clatter, Boom
Sounds all to familiar
Celebration of independence day
Yet I am still Bound in chains
Life has not yet granted me permission
To Break Away
Confidence splattered
Slowly dripping form the wall like life-less blood
I am Weak
Quiet
Afraid Of The World
I am not the picture of perfection
Broken
Shattered
Hurt by Chance
Ripped
Torn
Bruised
Stepped On
A heart like the somber rainbow of a colorless world
Cold, Alone
My life a firework
Fresh, Ready, New
Wanting to touch the sky
Up I shot Freedom overtook me
I blossomed
Pulchritudinous Overtook my diligent obsession
With self imperfection
Boom It Popped
Crashed and flizzled away
Little pieces of what would have been me
Now seperated and without meaning
Yet in dire need of togetherness
I Am The Firework
An ANgel With Broken Wings
