Blood on the Diamonds

Blood on the Diamonds

A Poem by >>AMV
"

Ice in your eyes, it's cold outside...

"

Blood on the diamonds,

I’ll listen as you speak,

Blood on the diamonds,

Ice in your eyes.

Fear not the shedding of tears,

Heartbeat growing cold, fluttering softly,

One may be blue, but here in your locket,

Here I will stay forever…

Let your letters flutter into the wind…

I will find them, catch them, keep them,

Ice in your eyes, it’s cold outside

Heart growing bitter, beating slower...

Dimming skies…

We’ll meet halfway, now; my words, your ears, and

The sorrow in between,

Close your eyes…

But speak not of betrayal, my friend,

I did not leave you.

Yours I will be,

Forever.

Ever have one of those poems that you have no intention of writing, but they just fall out of your fingers? For me, this is one of them...

I don't actually know what it means, so I'd be curious to hear some interpretations?
