Piercing the Bleak (Poem)

Dodging the nadirs, down low where they lay,

Surfing the zeniths, astronomically we play!

Not ever again, shall I descend so low,

Sail into the breeze, jetstreams carry me so!

Not down where the water compacts on the sand,

But up near the cloud tops high past the land!

Will you take my hand in adventure I seek,

Together, we’ll conquer, we’ll pierce the bleak!
