WallsA Poem by Prince AshlityrLoveThe mirror she beheld, the world her witness. Beauty in her eyes, A radiance in her smile, And the elegance of her hair, Flawless was the figure, And Majestic was the gait.
Soon did the wall arise, As did the disguise. The world beamed toward her castle on a cloud, And there she stood, stolen was her shroud.
The bustling sphere stole her heart, With not but a spark. Blue skies and rain, Washed away her pain. Red embers to trees, Set her aching thoughts free.
And me to you, I’ve nothing left but to follow through. This love I feel, These words I say, It’s all true.
I love you Izzi © 2012 Prince Ashlityr |
