Does Thranduil want to build a snowman

A Story by Ashley Armstrong
"

Little Legolas wants his father to play Lord Of The Rings fanfiction with a song from Frozen(with a little bit rewritten) Ada means Father(or dad) in elvish Ion-nin means son in elvish

"

Legolas looks out the window and sees that a blanket of snow has fallen. He giggles and runs down the hall to his father's study. "Ada?" he asks as he knocks on the door " Do you want to build a snowman? Come on let's go and play."

"Not now Ion-Nin. I am busy." Thranduil says

"I never see you anymore. Come out the door. It's like you've gone away," Legolas sighs, "We used to be best buddies. But now we're not. I wish you would tell me why."

"Legolas..." Thranduil warns

" Do you want to build a snowman? It doesn't have to be a snowman." Legolas tries to persuade his father.

" Go away, Legolas."

"Okay. Bye." he says sadly. Knowing his father was growing angry.

The next day there is even more snow on the ground. Legolas hopes his father is happier than he was yesterday as he knocks on the door. "Do you want to build a snowman?" he asks

"Not now. Why don't you go to the dining hall?"

"I think some company is overdue," Legolas complains as he walks away, "I've started talking to the pictures on the wall." Thranduil opens the door to his study. He hears his son singing "It gets a little lonely. All these empty rooms. Just watching the hours tick by."

The next day Legolas walks to his father's study sadly. He knocks on the door. "Ada? Please I know you're in there. People are asking where you've been. They say 'have patience'. And I'm trying to. I'm right out here for you. Just let me in." he starts to walk away. "Wait." Thranduil calls as he opens the door. "We only have each other. It's just you and me. What re we going to do?" He smiles "Do you want to build a snowman?

Aww, it's pretty sweet. I like how Legolas doesn't stop asking, and his father asks him the same question. I like how it was done1
