A child's eyesA Poem by Ashley ArmstrongA poem about the wonders of the world when you're a child
When you look through a child's eyes
Every hill is a mountain Every puddle is an ocean Every cardboard box is a ship And the floor is lava When you look through a child's eyes Blankets can become a fort Fairy tales could be real Your neighbor is a witch And people have homes in the clouds When you look through a child's eyes The world is full of magic and wonder Clouds are made of sugar And the moon is Swiss cheese The mountains are waffle cones And the snow is vanilla ice cream
