Really? Is It?

Is this it?

Is this truly what life is?

A dark abyss among many others.

Death occurs. Life happens and death occurs once again.

No reason to live.

No one who cares.

Emptiness where light should be.

There is no once upon a time,

And a happily ever after is lost forever.

So is this it?

Truly what I was made for?

To live and die.

There is no more reason to live

Death is approaching fast.

This isn’t murder; It’s different.

Will God still love me?

Heaven or Hell?

This is it.

I always wonder what the last moments of thought are going to be. You know how you think you are the only one to think something and then accidentally you find out your not? I wonder if it's actually freakishly similar when people kill themselves.

A simple yet complex question asked over and over again. "Is this it?" So many people wonder that same question and it's a hard one to answer. Nice write. Makes you think.

Sometime we must look above the s**t and try to find something good. I like this poem. Honest and to the point. We can't allow the world to blacken our soul. This piece is emotionally charged with anger,confusion, and misunderstanding. I'm going to assume everyone wants a purpose in their life but sometimes it doesn't make itself apparent right away. Interesting piece.
