a girl in light
walk without fear
a fearless child
she was, nothing
could stand in her
way or knock her down
not a wild child, just
a good soul, the light
would block out any
darkness,
one day this girl grew
and darkness found
a back door into her soul
found the weakness in her
light and started to block
and pull her down, found
everything that could hurt
and leave her to feeling
nothing, but the light still
lives in side her

To this day darkness
and lightness,
balance is the only way
