monster rules

monster rules

A Poem by darkness*star1985

shadows cast there spells

no use, no escape

purple skies float on by

carrying time on a wing

of a blue bird.

in a world filled with many

beauties, wonderous things

if feels like a dream

yet i walk freely

still caged

in a world of beauty

monster roam free

darkness falls upon

them like shadows

in the mist

monster have rules

just like us

their simple to follow

if you want to keep living

don't look at them

they wont bite

see one coming

turn as quickly as you can

don't speak to them

unless you want to be mute

don't follow them

unless if you want to be snack,

follow these and you will see

dawn

after all the hunted at night.

The poem remind me of a old wise saying. "Don't look for evil and bad things. Maybe they will stay away." I like the logic in your poem. A lot of common sense wisdom to evade monsters and darkness. A excellent poem.
