utopia

utopia

A Poem by Ashley H

youre the span when day turns to night
the stains in the firmament
all incomparably harmonized
youre good for
unlit car rides
your hand in mine
stopped by the cops
on the preoccupied mass pike
not sleeping
and drinking
ears to the concealed wooden floors
listening to the hysterics bouncing off plastic cups
and the bitter air falls through the paper thin walls
you are all i need

Utopia. A powerful and beautiful word. When I was young. Utopia was to be a life for all. I like this poem. I guess we must create our own utopia now. The poem story was very good. I like your ending. A excellent poem. Thank you.
