I'm sorry if I come off shy,

I promise I'm just trying to read the room.

What was your name again?

I'll try real hard to remember it

by the end of this.

I'm not the most ambitious person.

But if you invite me,

I just might come.

I'm not big on crowds, 

I just want to get through

and make sense of these 

words that I'm trying to speak to you.

Honestly though, I love a good conversation.

For intelligent minds make me weak.

I'm not much for the party scene anymore.

I believe that's why my phone rarely rings.

But I am that person, that friend you see,

that will sit with you in the dark, 

when life has those moments that make you

fall to your knees.

As for relationships, I'm no expert

But I do know this

My love will be felt

it will linger

you wont forget it.
