Steady Now

Time. You’ve given yourself that and now you’re ready. Brave. You go out and take chances. You say hello to that beautiful girl behind the counter. You go see that scary movie at 10pm by yourself. Space. You have plenty of it. It’s all there right in front you. The emptiness, the silence, you embrace it. It no longer sadness you as bad as it used to. Pain. It’s still there. It lingers but you’ve mastered it. It no longer controls your life. Your smile covers it and laughter destroys it. Life. You’ve only just begun to live it. Keep going.
