Getting to Know You

     The hardest relationship you will ever have is with yourself.  Only you can define who you are. Its your life, you hold the pen to write your story and you wear the shoes to go down whatever path you want to. Remember to keep a positive attitude.  It will surely help you conquer your day to day.  Grow with change and opportunity or make changes that help you grow and find better opportunities.  You cant change where you came from but you most certainly decide on where you are going.

     You may find it hard to love yourself but you must learn to. Allowing someone else to do that for you voids your own happiness.  Its exhausting trying to please and make everyone else happy when you are completely miserable and you shouldn't be.  You cant find yourself when you are lost in someone else and its important to understand who you are, what you want out of life and mostly, what makes you happy. 

     Once you've mastered the relationship between you and yourself you will find it much easier to bring someone else into your life and still remain independent in who you are and know what makes you happy without relying on that other person.  I do believe that love conquers all. I've just realized that its the inner peace within yourself that you have to make before falling in love tears you apart. You have to know how to just be you and be with just you in order to know that its all going to be okay and that you are just fine. Just smile and live life.

Oh snap, this is the kind of writing I really like to read, like a short critique. Now, on to the story, Yeah its true, a lot of people right now as I write this review, are trying to love someone or trying to prove something to them when the truth is, they don't know a single thing about them selves. Its sad because it means were putting other people whom we probably don't know in the front instead of us. I know it sounds kind of selfish but first is always you then the rest of the people come behind you. But the first thing to do when you want to truly love someone is love yourself. When you love yourself, you're able to cope with many situations and people without feeling sad or depressed, its kind of believing in yourself. Sadly, a lot of people don't realize that. I always say something: Let our happiness and love depend on the things we love not what my friends or other people love.
Now on to the structure of the story: Pretty enjoyable, this is going to my favorites. I wish everyone could read this and maybe they will.

Thank you! I think its hard because alot of people, including myself, get lonely and want that void filled easily and quickly. I learned the hard way that that isn't the way it works and then this thought just came to mind :)
