Myself and Someone Else

Take me there, away from it all

where the skies are clear and the water is pure.

I want to fly and never look down

knowing that I am safe as long as I believe.

I want to walk the Earth, tall and proud.

Let the my toes sink in the sand and the bravery glow upon my face.

I want to be heard when I am silent as I am when I am loud.

I need them to know who I am.

I fear not the journey but only the solitude that surrounds me.

I have appreciated my own company for some time

but now all I want is for you to take me there.
