The BeginningA Poem by ashleydawn
With all that happened
my brain had begun to stumble under the pressure of the overwhelming thoughts And a familiar itch wrapped each finger So sweet and comforting but foreign in the sense that it had long been missed Fear stepped before me and almost mis-guided my steps the passing boats had been silent for months Did I dare trespass these waters again? My pen flinched as I grasped it and instinct told me that pure nonsense would spew forth and none would be impressed. But simply put, my guts were wrong Thank you, my Father in Heaven for blessing me with such a night as this and many muses to gaze upon.
