Dust Out of Danger

Dust Out of Danger

A Poem by ashleydawn

You can't break
a broken heart?
How is it that
this theory stands?
My friend, I tell you now
that each shattered piece
may be stepped upon
and twisted in such a way
that only dust is left
And only when ones soul
has transformed into a pile
of such dust
may it float away
and cease to be
in danger.
