I Pray to God You're Buying Seltzer

I Pray to God You're Buying Seltzer

A Poem by ashleydawn

I watch you pass by

the deserts

Exchanging conversation

of potential purchases

Walking straight

down the aisle

aligned directly with

your entrance

(I suppose they make it

quite acessible)

I read the sign above

and the list contains

Varried beverages

Carbonated to alcoholic

with others in between

As you entered

glancing at the shelves ahead

I prayed to God

you were buying seltzer.
