I Have Spoken Out of Turn

I Have Spoken Out of Turn

A Poem by ashleydawn

Oh dearest,
so quickly you jump to assume!
I laugh and laugh
as you falter in misjudgment
but my Father reminds me
of the truth, and I quiet.
Yet, still.
I don't understand
what has cause such anger
in you tonight
You're watchful of us all
quickly pointing out errors
without grace
Have you seen yourself?
Is there no error in your way?
Your superiority?
Alas, I am but a child,
and I have spoken out of turn.
