I don't do it

as often as I should

and my greasy hair

complains of this injustice

Only on the third day though

and I always wash those thoughts away

Lately my box of suggestions

has gotten quite full of hate mail

and sending the words down

the drain

Doesn't seem to be enough

Soft films of the past remain
